Love the paintbrush idea. At my moms, she gives Gemma and Ira an empty container and paintbrushes, and they love "painting" anything and everything. Yay for awesome and CHEAP entertainment.
Is it a second child thing? Ellie was found standing on the kitchen table last week... and crawled out of her crib too. Sounds like Claire is about the same! Good luck with those stairs!
