Happy 150th Birthday Kansas!

Melanie learned this song at preschool and was very excited to share it with us, and even more excited to see herself on video sharing it.

(Be sure to pause the blog music in the right sidebar when you play the video)

Melanie then wanted to sing "Happy Birthday" to Kansas, which she does in the next video.  The only problem is the girls are so fascinated by watching themselves on the camera screen that they keep creeping closer and closer to get a better look at themselves (The result of all the pictures we take of them.  We're raising very vain children.)

We tried taking another video and putting a toy drumstick on the floor as a marker for Melanie to stand behind, but instead she gradually scooted it forward with her foot to get closer to the camera.

To finally solve the problem Matt put the girls on the pillow on the floor.  Ah, creating memories with kids is never quite as picture perfect as we envision it to be, is it?

(Sorry the videos are in three different posts, I couldn't get all three to go in the same post for some reason so I just split them up)
