Go Fish!

At my request Matt's dad made some card-boards for the girls for Christmas, which has made playing Go Fish so much more fun for our family.  Before we had these either Matt or I had to help Melanie hold her cards, but now we're free to play independently of her.  Who knew the difference between two and three players could be such a big deal?  Plus now Claire can get in on the action, which is pretty cute.
"Dad? 'quid? (squid)?" (said in a very inquisitive almost 2-year-old voice)
and a very emphatic "Go Fi(sh)!" complete with fist hitting the table, said in response to any request for a card, even if she does indeed have the match.
If you want instructions on how to make your own card-boards for playing with the kids (or as Matt's grandma suggested, for senior citizens or Parkinson's patients that have a tough time holding on to cards) check out the instructions here.
