-A sundress (put on backwards) that she pulled from the pile of warm weather clothes in the spare bedroom
-a pair of Claire's 12-18month jeans
-her Christmas shoes (on the wrong feet)
She was quite proud of her ensemble and requested that Claire be in the picture with her.
It may not look like it, but this is a loving embrace of her little sister and not a choke hold.
In defense of Melanie's clothing choices, it was the day last week that the weather was unseasonably warm (around 60 I think?) so the combination of sundress for the warmth, jeans for the actual season and Christmas shoes for the time of year was pretty appropriate.
Ta da!

i was a little perplexed by the rise of her dress until i realized the whole backwards part. and the picture of matt and melanie playing cards really cracks me up. what a good dad!
