Claire was baptized on the 15th after the 12:30 mass. Family and friends came for the baptism and we then had a little party with BBQ and cake afterwards. We were glad she came a bit early so we were able to have her baptized before Lent started and didn't have to wait until after Easter when she would be almost 2 months old!
Here are some pictures of the wonderful event:
Family picture time
Claire made it through the whole baptism without crying - we're two for two on the no crying!
Godmother Aunt Katie
Godfather Fr. John Hay
Poor John, we accosted him like the paparazzi.
Katie knew what to expect, but John had no idea what he had signed up for when it comes to pictures and our family!
(Claire's yawning, not crying in case you were wondering)

Hi Elizabeth! (And Matt)
This is Amanda (Rausch) Casper... I happened on your blog via Erin Marney's. Congratulations on Claire's birth! You have two beautiful daughters. :) I hope you don't mind me reading about them! I'm curious how you know Fr. John Hay - he went to college with my hubby. Small world!
We should get our kiddos together sometime. Haven't seen you since Oliver and Melanie were still in belly, I think... wow, how life has changed, huh? My email is amandacasper@gmail.com. Let me know if you need anything or you'd like to set up a playdate :) We'd love to meet the pretty girlies!
