Melanie enjoyed playing with her deflating balloons the day after her party. She really liked running up and down the hall as the balloons "followed" her due to the ribbon stuck around her ankle.

We're gradually introducing Melanie to self feeding. She won't pick up anything slimy like actual pieces of fruit, but she will poke her spoon around in the baby food.

Once in a while she even gets a little in her mouth.

Matt bought a power sander and was working on sanding the ceiling in the basement. He wore a mask and goggles, but obviously they didn't keep everything off. He was kinda like Pig Pen off of Charlie Brown when he came upstairs, a cloud of dust in his wake.
