The shams and throw pillows from their beds lined up on the floor of my room are a must.
Backpacks hung from a dresser help set the stage for a hopping party. Memory boxes add a nostalgic touch to the decor.
Approved bedtime reading propped up around the room is another party must, complete with a overturned laundry basket to serve as a stage to watch their performances in the mirror as they dance and sing. (Thus the pile of laundry to the side. I quickly put an end to any party activity that involved dumping laundry on the floor. We must have limits, you know.)
It's the attention to the smaller details that really set these parties apart.
Why the empty closet floor you ask?
Because it's not really a party unless there are lots of shoes there!
